While I enjoy plein air sketching, the ambitious nature of my finished works dictate that I work slowly and patiently, completing them in my studio.
An artist, farmer and gardener, I have always revelled in the bountiful colour and compelling designs of the world around me. Raised on a farm north of Norwood, I was encouraged to paint by my mother, who was also a painter. The beauty of the countryside and scenes from everyday farm life are favourite subjects of mine.
